This theme was lovingly called ‘Summer Camp’. Two kids meet at summer camp and returned back to where it all started to tie the knot, and with its 300-acre farm nestled in the heart of Lexington, Reid Farm was the perfect backdrop. Upon entering the gates, you find a stunning private lake, sprawling natural forests, and exceptional facilities, including a dock house and cabin, that come together to allow for the creation of treasured memories. The adventure began with a beautiful assortment of golden yellows and rust tones. Pairing vintage camping gear and bohemian decor in the woodland setting created a charming one-of-a-kind wedding perfectly reflecting any couple’s love for nature. To go along with our woodland theme, our earthy styled cake gave the look of a real tree. Combined with buttercream layers and hand painted gold accents, this maple walnut flavored cake was a beautiful addition to the wedding. The bride wore a high low cotton blend medallion fabric with a keyhole back accented with a ribbon tie detail by Lotus Threads. The florals had a natural feel, not fussy or too formal. From the acorns in the boutonnière, the simple bouquet of just kangaroo paw and feathers to the arrangements, they pulled in all the natural elements and were fun and whimsical. No detail was untouched… tree trunk wedding cake, hand calligraphy, organic bug repellent, and the mobile bar serving themed drinks all complimented the outdoor theme.
