This beautiful, garden-inspired shoot is a breath of fresh air after a long winter. This Chrysalis shoot represents new beginnings after a time where we have all felt the growth pains of transformation from the last couple of years.
The inspiration was the floral gown and butterfly veil that just had to be the centerpiece. Tying the butterfly theme throughout, we were able to create a whimsical, spring wedding design that felt fresh and full of color.
The flowers were chosen to coordinate with the colors of the gown. The bright blue and peach pop against the soft purples, pinks, and white flowers. We wanted a big focal piece for the ceremony location that could also transition to the getaway car. These same floral elements were carried into the bouquet and centerpieces.
The cake was designed to feel feminine and delicate, much like the gown and florals.
The stationary was designed specifically for this shoot with beautiful hand lettering and velum details. We added real, ethically sourced butterflies to the flat lay details.
The table was filled with beautiful spring flowers and candles. We chose a simple floral-patterned china and rested it on a clean glass charger rimmed in silver. We chose modern flatware and combined these with beautiful, colorful glassware and linen napkins.
