LOVE TAKES FLYTE

Photography by Ashley Stone Photography This vintage styled shoot has the perfect inspiration for your vibrant, spring retro glam wedding ideas. One of the biggest statements of this shoot was the 1961 Shasta Airflyte replica and its vibrant butternut yellow, which set the stage for the color palette. Mixing in cheerful tones of pink, yellow, and orange, and even accessorizing with fresh grapefruit that played into the same color palette, added more pop in the setting and a lot of zest for style. The bridal look stayed true to the 60’s era with a soft half up half down do and bouffant veil inspired by Priscilla Presley’s wedding to Elvis. The groom wore gray as a nice neutral addition to the set complimenting the silver striping of the camper. The cake and florals made a statement all their own. Opting for the same bold tones, the cake was golden yellow with eucalyptus and an assortment of peonies cascading down the tiers…perfectly paired with champagne topped with mire grapefruit. Every detail was accounted for, down to the cake stand which was chosen for its minty green appearance reminiscent of jadeite, popular dishware in the 60’s.
