Back in the day, couples would get married at a church host a receiving line, eat pastel mints and a slice cake before leaving that night for the beach for their honeymoon. Now, more than ever, weddings are an experience showcasing a couple’s love story. Pre-COVID-19, couples spent hours on Pinterest, attending wedding shows, and flipping through magazines to plan their big day, but now with all of the uncertainties, what will weddings look like moving forward? Will everyone be in masks standing six feet away from one another or RSVP ‘no’ because they are in fear of the number of guests? It seems like ‘big’ wedding receptions as we know it are at a standstill, for now, but Knot Your Average Events has been proactively planning and creating ways that weddings could possible happen safely as the world emerges in the future.
