The most unique element of our wedding would have to be the venue. The Groom has known the owner of The Hideaway at Crooked Creek for nearly 10 years and used to work for him. Their relationship has grown over the years and Alex has seen the venue grow from an idea to the beautiful space it is today. The uniqueness of the ceremony space near the waterfall, the entire landscape (including cows and llamas grazing in the fields nearby), combined with the tented reception space (including a DJ booth, catering station, and spectacular lighting), made it feel like a space created just for us.
Talias father, who passed away last year, was with us in spirit and she had a charm of him around her bouquet and a heart-shape piece of his shirt sewn into her gown.
Personalized specialty cocktails were served and were named after our two French Bulldogs (Tootsie & Finn) and the cocktail signs were drawn by Alexs talented cousin, Reed Gibson.
The day ended up being perfect in every way, even considering the changes we had to make due to Covid. The weather turned out to be sunny and the temperature was perfect. ~ Alex
