SARAH & XAVIER

“The Cambodian ceremony consisted of four events in the morning, starting with a parade, ring exchange, cleansing of the past, blessings, and palm seed toss. Private Park session followed. The reception was in the evening where we received and greeted all guests. We did our first dance, toasts, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, and bouquet toss. We ended the night with dancing to American and Cambodian music.

“One of the most unique elements of the day was the beautiful outfit changes. I had a total of eight outfits, but only used seven (we got tired of changing throughout the day).

“If there are any things I would change about the day, they would be: be as specific and detailed on anything you want for the wedding; do not let opinions of others dictate your decisions no matter how small. Trust your vendors and relax. Don’t give into pressures from your family.” ~ Sarah
