MARLYN & HARRISON

Our wedding day was more special than we could have ever asked for. The home was where our relationship started back when we were just boyfriend and girlfriend, it was where I graduated with my masters degree, its the place we got engaged, and lastly, where we got married. There are so many memories within this home.

I had always loved the red and pink colors because of my heritage. My family was born and raised in Bulgaria and it is tradition to incorporate the color red and pink in weddings because Bulgaria is known as the land of roses and during a ceremony it symbolizes a life full of love, happiness, and affection…essentially an unbreakable bond between a couple. The color green was incorporated because both Harrison and I have a great love for nature.

We were able to grow vegetables served at our wedding and the honey used for our favors were from my parents own honey bees.

Although we got married during a pandemic, we made the best of it! Harrison and I look back on our day with a huge smile on our faces because it was so memorable and loving, and with happy hearts, we know that our wedding didnt cause any COVID-19 spread….thanks to social distancing and masks! ~ Marlyn
