LAUREN & MAX

Max and I met when he moved to my middle school in the 8th grade. We soon began dating and the rest is history!

Every year we go on a trip to celebrate our anniversary and in 2018 we decided to go to snowboarding at Lake Tahoe, then spend a few days in Napa Valley with my brother and his wife. The day we landed, we went to have dinner and on the way to the restaurant we stopped by a beach at Lake Tahoe with snow-capped mountains in the background and he popped the question. It was extra special having my brother and sister-in-law there in the moment with us.

Our wedding day was the easiest and most laid-back day. I do not remember being anxious or stressed about a thing. Our vendors made everything go so smoothly and our family and friends made the reception one big party!

Our wedding theme was classic, timeless, and elegant. We kept the colors minimal and chose to stay with black, whites, neutrals, and greenery.

One of the most unique elements of our day was that Max and I were able to stay at our venue in the bridal suite the night of the wedding, so we did not do a traditional exit at the end of the reception. Instead, we had everyone gather around us and we released Chinese lanterns into the sky. It was magical! ~ Lauren
