“Our wedding day was nothing short of a romantic, whimsical fairytale. As the bride, I am very biased in saying that of course, but while planning the day I was incredibly focused on the details and the experience our guests would have and it turned out to be nothing short of magical.
“The Barn at Reynolda Village has always been a place that has been near and very dear to my heart, and also to my family. In fact, my grandparents have a bench in the Gardens that is dedicated to them. As a family, we have visited the bench throughout the years and have enjoyed many happy times in the gardens, so when I found out we could get married there, I jumped at the opportunity.
“The day itself was filled to the brim with garden party romance and with details that are representative of us and our families. We incorporated the blue and white china patterns into the design to represent my love of tea parties and my late grandmother’s love of antiques. We put Tyler’s and my favorite snack in the gift bags and sang ‘Happy 90th birthday’ to Tyler’s grandmother who so graciously allowed us to get married on her 90th!
“This day made me feel like I was getting married to the love of my life in a Jane Austen novel or fairytale. It was nothing short of amazing and I feel so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to have a day like that and to get to celebrate in such a wonderful way with our friends and family. I am incredibly grateful to both of our families who helped us make this day possible and whose outpouring of love made our day one I, or my husband, will NEVER forget. It was a DREAM!” ~ Katelyn
