JULIA & CHRIS

“Our wedding day was a year later than we anticipated due to COVID-19, but it was everything we had hoped for and imagined. It was a beautiful fall North Carolina day, we had our best friends and family in town (some traveling over 2,000 miles), and we were simply thrilled this day had finally arrived. We had our ceremony in the Millennium Center Courtroom, filled with special music, our own vows, and lots of happy tears. We moved to the ballroom for the reception, where we enjoyed delicious food, a few wonderful toasts, and had an incredible time dancing.

“We did not have a particular theme but wanted something beautiful and classic. We love all the character and history the Millennium Center offers, including the refinished courtroom, the mailboxes in the foyer, and the exposed brick columns in the ballroom.

“When we couldn’t decide between a DJ or a band, we decided to combine the two and we hired a DJ as well a saxophone player and drummer.

“Despite COVID and delaying our wedding a year, our entire wedding weekend was incredibly special and memorable. We wouldn’t change a thing.” ~ Julia
