“Our wedding day was everything that we dreamed of and more. We were blessed with perfect weather and the ones we loved surrounding us. Details shined throughout the day with every moment being soaked in. Our reception reminded us of being back at NC State with friends who have been there since we met.
“Our wedding theme was southern charm. We tried to incorporate family and farm items. We placed rustic wine barrels at the end of the aisle for the ceremony. We used old tobacco sticks to make lantern centerpieces, as well as old shutters for a picture backdrop. Everything came together to make the perfect southern charm wedding.
“The most unique element of our wedding day were the details from Danielle’s family’s fourth-generation farm. The combine and tractor sitting behind the arbor in the view of the corn field made for a dream backdrop. Reception centerpiece lanterns were made from old tobacco sticks with antique mason jars from grandparents.
“If we could change anything it would be in the planning process, which would be to hire a videographer first thing. We waited until the last minute, but now we couldn’t imagine not having our wedding videos to look back on. It’s like hitting rewind on an entire day to see all the highlights.” ~ Danielle
