“Our wedding day was filled with people we love. We truly value relationships and being intentional with our people. We spent the morning getting ready with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. When we arrived at the church our time waiting was filled with prayer. We had our first touch around the front door and prayed together and were truly giddy! The ceremony was led by Bella’s grandfather Bishop Martyn Minns and the sanctuary was filled with people from every season of our lives.”
“We took the Raleigh Trolley to Fred Fletcher Park for bridal party portraits and then traveled to Chatham Station for our favorite evening! Our entrance song was “Remember This” by the Jonas brothers (bride’s a big fan) and Pittsburgh Steelers “terrible towels” were flying all over the room (groom’s a big fan)! We danced the night away under a beautiful sunset and ended the night with sparklers.”
“I love flowers and gardens, so we were going for an indoor garden party. Our wedding color was dusty blue with pops of summer colors in the details.”
“The most unique elements of our day were our celebrations to Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh cookie table is a tradition where friends and family of the bride and groom prepare cookies for guests to enjoy and take home. We had personalized cookie bags for guests to fill with treats. We also had Stephen’s family bring Pittsburgh Steelers “terrible towels” to cheer as we were announced Mr. & Mrs. Harris for the first time at our reception.”
“Our day was the best day of our lives, and we wouldn’t change a thing on our wedding day! We loved talking with our guests, the hugs, and dancing and singing our hearts out.” ~ Bella
