“Our wedding day was what I had dreamed about, but also something wonderfully different. Let me explain. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of a fairytale wedding…big ideas, big sparkly gown, millions of flowers everywhere, GLAMOROUS, and over the top. Our wedding was elegant, classy, and a little vintage. However, the one big dream I had about my future wedding day and my actual wedding day was marrying the person who would love me for the rest of our life’s. Our wedding was who we are and not really what tradition called for.

“We did a boudoir shoot the morning of, a first look, no cake (we both are not fans of cake), had a smaller wedding with people who made us who we are and who we loved and cared about deeply. We tried to include our dog as much as possible, dinner privately, just the two of us, and got to spend time with our guests, talking and dancing the night away.

“Some of the most unique elements were the surprise ice cream truck as dessert and trivia questions to release tables to get in line for the buffet. We also did a first dance with sparklers outside instead of an exit. Oh, and potato bar!!! So yummy!” ~ Amanda
