My wedding day cannot be described in any word less than perfect! My now husband and I encountered a lot of challenges on our journey to our wedding day. We were one of the many couple’s that were impacted by a venue closing. We then were affected by COVID-19 where we had to change the number of guests in attendance. Lastly, two weeks prior to our wedding our second venue closed temporarily due to COVID precautions. We then were referred to the most beautiful venue, Cadillac Service Garage, and the venue owner did everything in her power to get everything ready for our special day along with our planner, Vivid Concepts and Design.
Our last name is Battle, so our colors were similar to Army Fatigue colors to represent soldiers going into battle because we plan on going up against anything that comes up against us together and we plan to come out victorious. Our memory verse was 2nd Chronicles 20:15 ‘For the battles are not yours, but God’s.’ Our hashtag was #forBattleorforWorse. ~ Akeri
